Elementary schools in the Tustin Unified School District are participating in the annual Read Across America Day on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in honor of the late Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
Read Across America Day, a nationwide celebration of literacy, is being sponsored by the National Education Association. This year’s theme is “Hats Off to Reading.”
TUSD school libraries will hold special events and story times. District Office administrators and staff, local leaders, parents and community members will visit schools to read their favorite books to students. Tustin-Santa Ana Rotary Club members will read to students at Estock Elementary School.
