RI Convention Report by President Bev

Club President Bev Loughran will report on her experiences at the Rotary International Convention in Atlanta, GA,  June 10-14.

Bev will share her observations of the breathtaking opening ceremonies and inspirational general session featuring speakers such as Bill Gates, Jack Nicklaus, Senator Bob Corker and Georgia Governor Nathan Deal; her opportunity to meet Rotarians and learn about projects from around the world at the International House of Friendship; and to participate in the Rotary Foundation’s 100th Birthday Party.  It was a once-in-a-lifetime event to join with more than 30,000 Rotarians and guests from over 100 countries who gathered to celebrate Rotary accomplishments.
