Tustin Seniors Valentine Sweetheart Luncheon
Serving Tustin Area Seniors
Each year the Tustin area seniors gather to celebrate with a Valentines theme lunch at the Senior Center. The Rotary Sweetheart Luncheon allows the senior to enjoy a festive free lunch, live entertainment and interaction with animated Rotarians. The Sweetheart Luncheon has been a Tustin Santa Ana Rotary Club event for over 25 years.

Rotarian Volunteer Hours: 60
Club members meet at the Senior Center to prepare and serve the luncheon to the Seniors. Rotarians serve beverages, the meal, and dessert. After serving the Seniors, Rotarians sit and interact with the guests. Rotarians also clean up after the luncheon. This event is very popular with Club Rotarians. Approximately 85% of our Club members participate. Many spouses also attend to serve and interact with the Seniors.
Community Outreach:
The Tustin Community Senior Center advertises the event in their Newsletter, on their on-line bulletin board, and in the local newspaper. The event is covered in local news, publishing our press release and photos of the event. On many occasions the Tustin Mayor will also attend and speak at the event.
