Paul Harris Awards
The Rotary Foundation is the glue that cements clubs with other clubs locally, nationally, and internationally. The glue is money that is shared and matched.
On November 15th, 2007, we honored 22 Tustin-Santa Ana Rotarians who have earned 24 Paul Harris Awards. As you know, The Rotary Foundation (TRF) spends ALL of its donated money on projects and services. Administration costs come out of the interest earned. As you also know, the more money donated by our District Rotarians, the more money comes back to our district for use on local projects in our own communities.
- The first level of giving is that of a Paul Harris Sustaining Member. This person commits to donating $100.00 per year until $1,000 in total giving is achieved. This level applies to most of our former Tustin members who have had their TRF contribution billed to them quarterly and to former Santa Ana members who contributed regularly.
- A Paul Harris Fellow has contributed a total of $1,000 to TRF over his giving history.
- A Multiple Paul Harris Fellow has given $2,000 or more and has an option to honor someone else with a Paul Harris Fellowship using his recognition points.
- PH plus 1 - initial $1,000, plus an additional $1,000, = $2,000 total
- PH plus 2 - initial $1,000 plus an additional $2,000, = $3,000 total
- PH plus 3 - $4,000 total
- PH plus 4 - $5,000 total
- PH plus 5 - $6,000 total
- PH plus 6 - $7,000 total
- PH plus 7 - $8,000 total
- PH plus 8 - $9,000 to $9,999 total
- The Paul Harris Society recognizes individuals who commit to donate $1,000 per year to TRF.
- The 100% Paul Harris Club award is given to Rotary clubs whose entire membership has donated $1,000 or more.
